WatchMyRunPrivacy policy
WatchMyRun is developed and operated by Juraj Vavreček, Mierová 4, 821 05 Bratislava, Slovensko. Contact: juro.vavrecek@gmail.com. Effective 17 October 2026. No separate app account is required.
With your permission, WatchMyRun reads and writes relevant Apple Health workout information, including workout dates, duration, distance, available heart rate, routes and related metadata. Location is used to measure distance, pace and routes, including while an activity is in the background. You can change permissions in system and Health settings; limiting access may limit features.
Activities and preferences are processed on your devices. Relevant information is exchanged between your paired iPhone and Apple Watch using WatchConnectivity. The developer does not operate a server collecting your workouts. The app includes no advertising or analytics SDK. App-owned workout and related metadata files are excluded from app iCloud backups. Apple Health synchronization and storage are controlled by Apple and your system settings.
Maps and place-name lookup use Apple services, which may process necessary location and technical information under Apple's policies. The public release does not send workout information to Open-Meteo. Weather, when available, can come from Health workout metadata.
Apple processes subscriptions and payments. The app uses verified transaction information to determine access. We do not receive your payment card number. Apple may provide sales and financial reports.
Local records remain until deleted or the app is removed. Removing the app does not automatically delete Health workouts. With confirmation, the app can delete workouts it created; manage other workouts in Health or their originating app.
If you contact support, we process what you send to respond. Avoid sending unnecessary health data. We retain correspondence only as needed to resolve the request and meet applicable legal requirements. Where GDPR applies, you can request access, correction, deletion or restriction of personal information we hold and complain to the Slovak data protection authority. Support processing is based on handling your service request or our legitimate interest in resolving technical issues; legal obligations apply where required.
